About Me
My Experiences, My Influences
I am not a writer by trade nor do I have any specific credentials that allows me to be an expert on the subject. I just have a passion for writing and want to tell my stories, share the characters and the worlds I have created..
I have a day job that pays the bills and helps contribute towards the family. I was born in Tamworth Staffordshire in the UK, over the years I have moved to Warwickshire, then onto Derbyshire and now reside in Northamptonshire collecting along the way little snippets of their accents as I continue my life journey!
My influences are good dramas ranging from Doctor who (classic and modern), Star Trek, including the amazing Brave New Worlds, Supernatural (which is one of my huge favourites), Anime such as Blue Eyed Samurai, Love, Death & Robots, and the excellent Castlevania series to name a few.
Films are also a love of mine, from adventure such as Indiana Jones to action alongside John Wick, Sci-Fi from Alien through to Star Wars, not to mention classics such as Bladerunner, both versions of The Day the Earth Stood still and the amazing all time classic, Forbidden Planet!
As regards authors, well its a mix, George Mann and the excellent Newbury & Hobbs adventures, Edgar Cantero for his brilliant fresh stories, Steve Jackson and the wonderful Fighting Fantasy Sorcery universe, Ray Bradbury for his short stories, Robert Heinlein (my first adult novel) and the amazing horror of the very missed James Herbert. I also read graphic novels such as Warren Ellis for the extremely entertaining Global Frequency series!

POETRY
Early in my career as a writer I started with poetry, this was a labour of love spread over many years, a gap filler between my on and off story writing but also a way to express my thoughts or my feelings - to put them down on paper and clear my mind.
I never thought for one minute that I would release a collection to the world, even more astonished that I have added to that collection over the past few years.
Even now a fourth is being written, maybe this will be my final collection....
They are all in Kindle and paperback formats.
STORIES
I have many titles stored away, taken from the ever expanding notes on my phone and various bits of paper that continues to be found scattered around the home.
There are an ever growing list of stories I want to write and tell to the world, rich in characters and different in genres, more sci-fi, dark fantasy to come, and treading into the waters of thrillers and action adventure.
It is just about finding the time to write them all down!
